Ronald L. Proctor, DDS
After earning his bachelor's in chemistry at University of Oklahoma, Dr. Proctor graduated with a DDS from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas. He then invested two years in a dental internship with the US Navy, where he spent six months aboard the aircraft carrier USS Ranger in the Western Pacific and South China Sea. In 1977, Dr. Proctor opened his private practice in the Dallas area.
Dr. Proctor continues to serve patients from his Carrollton practice with general, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry. He has attended Millennium Dental Technologies, Institute for Advanced Laser Dentistry; Baylor College of Dentistry, Aesthetic Restorative Continuum; and The Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education, where he was awarded distinction as a Pankey Scholar, Visiting Faculty , and Consulting Faculty. Every year, Dr. Proctor attends many hours of continuing education in order to stay up-to-date with the latest tools, techniques, and treatments in dentistry. His dedication drives his success and results in long-term satisfaction for both patient and doctor.
For the last three consecutive years, Dr. Proctor received the Super Dentist designation from Texas Monthly. Super dentists are chosen by peers through a rigorous selection process and recognized as leaders in the industry. Dr. Proctor has also been recognized for his work with the Carrollton/Farmer’s Branch Technology Internship Program, which allows students to spend time in a dental practice, getting hands-on training in their field of study.
